The 80’s Ladies is a fun pop/rock cover band from Cleveland, OH. The 80’s Ladies began their musical journey in 1983 and soon became one of the most sought after bands in Ohio. In 1989 they were set to open for Bon Jovi on their world tour when tragedy struck. The 80’s Ladies were headed to their first show of the tour when a bolt of lightning struck their tour bus sending them through what appeared to be a rip in the space time continuum. The bus and all of the members on board disappeared from 1989. Much to their surprise they somehow ended up in the year 2022! And they are here today to rock Cleveland with all of the most excellent songs from the 1980’s in hopes someday they will find a way home.

The band rotates lead vocals and instrumentation. Bringing a full pop/rock sound to every song with drums, bass, guitars, keys, sax and layers of harmonies!

They Wear their Sunglasses at Night and are the reason there is a Total Eclipse of the Heart. What a Feeling you’ll get listening to their harmonies, and Sweet Dreams you’ll have thinking about the day they come to perform at a venue near you. You won’t ever feel “Alone” because their hits will have you singing along!

Also the band members are related to some very iconic folks from the 80’s as you can see by their names:
Sam Ripley
Tammy MacGyver
Punky Turtle
Deborah Bueller
Charlie McClane

While the above names are on-stage personas, the band is made up of incredible original talent with deep roots in the Cleveland music scene. The 80’s Ladies features on lead vocals and various instruments: CJ Louis, Kate Hart, Lisa Kimpel (drummer for Meg & the Magnetosphere), Casandra Lynn, and Meg Stepka (Meg & the Magnetosphere, Founder of 48 Hour Virtual Music Fest, Singer/Songwriter and Open Mic Host at Manic Monday & Winchester Open Mics)
