Scottish jazz artist, residing in NE Ohio, Carol Leslie can be found singing at black tie events, galas, fundraisers, or small, intimate cocktail parties, corporate marketing events; also at top caliber Cleveland clubs, such as The Bop Stop, Blu Jazz, Night Town, The Standard, and Music Box Supper Club. Chosen out of 2500 vocalists to represent Scotland, Carol sang in a live, international talent show broadcast across Europe! Since then, she has lived in Bermuda, and has performed in Australia, New Zealand, Norway, throughout Scotland, and now in the States, where she worked performing lead vocals with the Akron band Elegy, the Nuff Rey Orchestra, and the Ricky Endress Little Big Band. She is not only multi-lingual, but often is booked as a Mistress of Ceremonies to help conduct events, to enable the flow to be completely successful. Her repertoire covers big ballads, and torch songs from every decade, as she pays homage to Sarah Vaughan, Diana Krall, Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerald, Anita Baker, Barbra Streisand, Brandi Carlyle, Judy Garland, as well as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett and Michael Buble. Her vocal range is extraordinary, and she is often described as having “blue-eyed soul.” Her CD, “Carol Leslie – Live At The Bop Stop!” can be purchased at www.cdbaby.com.
